Once Around The Bay
Now for your review, take a look at the route and proposed places to stay.
We need to start firming up who is going to be going on this mystery tour.
The locations still have spots available but are starting to book up.
The idea of breaking this up in a two stop ride is that we will not have to
break our butts (OF COURSE.. WE DO HAVE GENEROUS AMOUNTS
BOUDREAUX'S BUTT PASTE, IF NEEDED) and we can take a nice leisurely
ride around the Bay. Do some wondering and exploring the area.
We are not looking to set a landspeed record!!!
Friday 7/14 10:00am +/-
We would all meet up at Dougherty's in Stafford, our favorite watering hole
and then leave from there....
Friday afternoon/evening
If we stay around Cambridge,MD which is 162 miles for the first leg.
There is a bunch of campgrounds around Cambridge and Taylor Island.
Madison Bay Marina & Campground
4814 Madison Canning House Rd
Madison, MD 21648
(410) 228-4111
Saturday 7/15
The second day, we could hit Virginia Beach. That is 156 miles.
First Landing State Park
2500 Shore Dr
Virginia Beach, VA 23451
(800) 933-7275
Sunday 7/16
Head for the house, 157 miles to get back to Stafford,VA
Back to Doughery's in Stafford for food and drink!!!
This is just a place to start the discussion....
Think about it...
