Trike of the Week

Big Daddy Update

Hello all.....

This winter when you work on your bikes replacing parts
and adding chrome don't forget to use blue or red lock tight.

We forgot to mention in last week's email that the coffee cup
donated by DTCJ Graphics raised $135.00!!!!!!!

Next Wednesday December 20th will be our last Bike Night
before Christmas. Several ladies have asked about doing a
cookie swap that evening. This is where you will bring 2 dozen
of any homemade cookies to be swapped for other cookies that
have been brought in.If you think you would like to participate please
email or call me here at the store so that I can put you on the list.

Doug and I were able to take our weekend getaway this past
weekend that some of you had a hand in. If you were one of
the ones who helped in some way to put that together then
we want to thank you. We had a great time and the cottage
was fantastic. We opted not to stay in the main house but
instead stayed in one of the cottages they have on the grounds.
I don't think either of us realized how much we needed that
until we got there and could actually relax.
So we can't thank you enough!

We will be closed the following days during the holiday season:
Sunday December 24th-26th
Sunday December 31st-January 2nd

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THIS GREAT EVENT THAT IS COMING UP:

Where- Ferry Farm Walmart

Big Daddy Update

WE WILL BE CLOSED SUNDAY DECEMBER 10th

Hello all.....

A great big thank you goes out to all the riders who
came out to the Toy Run. We had 90 bikes and who
knows how many people!!!!
Thank you to SANTA....aka Frank Venable.
He was our Toy Run Santa and he did a phenomenal job.
Thank you to Brothers of the Third Wheel who came out.
They donated toys for 4 children and donated $200.00 cash.
The Village staff were there to greet us with cocoa, coffee,
Brunswick Stew, cornbread, cookies, and banana nut bread....
it was fantastic.

With the help of everyone we were able to fill a 6x12 trailer
about 2/3 of the way full. We also raised $713.62 in cash
which went directly to the Village. This is money they can
use to get any gifts that were not bought or for any extra
children that may come in between now and Christmas.
Take a few minutes to check out the pictures on

Alice C. Tyler Christmas Ride

NOVA Gang,

We just got home and can`t express in words
the feelings of this wonderful event today.
With over 100 bikes and trikes, we traveled
from Big Daddy's Leathers to the Puritan Club
in Lignum,VA to get together with the folks from
The ALICE C. TYLER CHILDHELP Facility.

What a sensitive and caring group of people
that work with these abused kids.

The ride raised a total of $750.00 and about
3/4 of a 6' x 14' trailer with gifts. Our $200.00
and gifts were greatly appreciated by
the A.C.T. staff.

It was a little nippy around the edges,
but we kept nice and warm.

If you couldn't make it ,we understand.
You were well respresented by Mickey and Mary Lou Blue,
Mary and Katie Ivie, and Boiney and Lockie.
Next year we will have to put a real effort toward getting
more folks to ride in this great event.

See you at Bob and Kathy Burgess's on Dec 16.

Boiney and Debbie (Lockie)
