Poker Run - Benefit Ride

We just received this and was wondering if anyone wants to ride in this POKER RUN. This is for a local person who was in a bad accident. Debbie and will be
there. We could meet at the Marine Museum just south of RT 619 (the Main
gate of Quantico) at and ride from there..

David Russell, 34 year old Stafford resident, was involved in a tragic accident on September 22, 2007. Dave known to his friends as “Dave-Man” or “Cave-Man” received second and third degree burns to over seventy-five percent of his face and body. Dave-Man will have a tough and long recovery. Doctors predict that he will be a resident at the Washington Hospital Center Burn Unit for more than a year. They can not predict the extent of his injuries or his recovery. He will continue to receive surgery and other medical procedures for a very long time. Please participate in this Poker Run to help support Dave’s ride to recovery. Thanks!

Big Daddy Update

We want to thank everyone who came out to support the "Ride for Little Angels." We had 46 bikes and raised $1301.00 for the Garden of Angels Fund at Mary Washington Hospital. We had a great ride and once again, everyone returned safely. Most importantly we were able to share in a very special day for Sean and Amanda Parkinson as they celebrated their "angel" Sydney Renee Parkinson.

NDET FALL FEST -10 Nov. 2007 12pm-until
Tickets are now on sale. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a fund set up for Ivonne Pastoriza who passed away on Aug. 22 from Cancer.
Advanced tickets are $15.00 per person. Event day they will be $20.00 per person. This will include your food, drink, camping, entertainment. Camping is primitive with no hook ups or septic.
CAMPING OR A DESIGNATED DRIVER IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED AND WILL EVEN BE ENFORCED if you plan to consume alcohol.

"Bike Night in the Burg" is still going strong. Come out every Wednesday 6:30-8:30

The 2nd Annual BDL Cruisin' the Caribbean is still booking. We now have 55 excited cruisers booked. Don't miss the boat!!!!

We're thinking about, haven't decided yet, about doing this Sunday ride. Maybe you can forward to all our chapter and we can make a make-up meeting/ride of it. Should be big fun, Graves Mt. has music, food, and lots of festivities. We meet very close to where we met at Target for the Dave Ruren run. Let me know what you think..... LANNY

Fall Foliage Ride

10/14/2007 - 10/14/2007

For 19 years Coleman PowerSports has hosted this annual ride! This year the
ride will depart from the WOODBRIDGE STORE ONLY and ride along a pre-planned
route ending at Graves Mountain Lodge during their Apple Harvest Festival.
There will be great food, music, crafts, vendors, apples and more! All brands
and types of bikes are encouraged to join us.
Please Note: This is an all day ride. We can provide a shorter route to less
experienced riders that cuts off the last third (the most
challenging/difficult part) of the ride but still provides a fantastic
experience with beautiful views on lots of 2 lane roads and scenic byways.
Please mention that you'd like to do this option when you check in or at the
rider's meeting.

Ride for Little Angels- THIS SUNDAY 14 Oct., 2007 Ride will LEAVE Big Daddy Leather at 2pm. Come out and help support the MWH Foundation, Garden of Angels Fund. For more info on this organization please contact me via email. We will take about a 1 -1 1/2 hour ride and then return to the store. Cost is $10.00 per rider, $5.00 per passenger. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Garden of Angels Fund.
